3-axis CNC Milling & 3+2-axis CNC Milling
It’s a low cost and efficient solution to your CNC milling project needs. They’re great for fast and efficient material removal and making flat or planar surfaces, but only along the Z-axis. 3-axis CNC Milling a limitation for many parts that need holes or pockets machined on multiple faces, which the 3-axis machine cannot normally access. We can also setup 3+2 axis milling machining to meet the unique requirements of each client.
4 Axis CNC Milling
The 4th axis of motion opens up many new cnc machining possibilities, by adding rotary motion along the X axis, this avoids the problem of remounting and re-indexing as you would have on a 3-axis cnc mill machine, 4 Axis CNC Milling with greater control and more flexibility, even with complex shapes.
5 Axis CNC Milling
The 5-axis CNC milling machine adds another degree of freedom, this time along the Y-axis. Rotation around Y is called the B axis. Some complex compound curves in multiple directions that can only be done on a 5-axis machine. It’s more efficient than 3/4 axis machines.
A dedicated 5-axis machine is usually much more rigid and maintain accuracy in milling even while moving in many directions simultaneously. This precision means closer tolerances even for relatively simple parts, ensuring your cnc milling parts matching markets demands faster and profit.
